It does not matter if you are a Network Marketer looking for new distributors, a Real Estate Agent trying to hook up buyers and sellers, a ministry dedicated to preaching the Gospel, a political activist spouting your political views, a mechanic seeking more customers, a tax professional trying to increase connectivity with your clients, no matter what it is that you do blogging may be the solution for you
One thing about blogging it just flat out works.
Off course it is not a magic pill and it does take some work and some time. You have a desire talk about what is in your head either through writing, video or combination of. And the more personality that you can convey the more effective you will be. You must constantly be placing content in your blogs even though it does not always have to be your own. In fact having a team helping you write for your blog can increase its effectiveness.
The great thing about blogging is that search engines love em. Google, Bing, Yahoo and all the others have spiders that are scourging through internet looking for content. Most websites are static but blogs are interactive with both posts and comments. The more you post the more comments you will receive, more comments you receive the higher your blog will rate in the search engines and the more traffic it will bring.
There are differing formats – blogger.com, Joomela, WordPress.org and WordPress.com – all have their plusses and minuses but my favorite is WordPress.org. Though blooger.com may be the easiest to use WordPress.org is almost as easy but it is far more flexible plus you have 100% control of your domain names.
You don’t need to know anything about html or website design. Literally, there are thousands of pre made themes both free and paid for you to instantly install on your blog. Many of which are a snap to customize. You can be up and running looking a liking like a pro in minutes.
If you do nothing, but install a good looking theme and write decent content your blog will draw traffic. If you take the time to learn learn how to install the proper plugins, most being free, and place the proper widgets for your site theme and content you can increase traffic and monetize your blog in no time at all.
Like anything that you undertake for the first time there is a learning curve. I recommend that you find a good WordPress training course that will get you up and blogging right away.
